Nub theory guesses?

Hi all,

This is just for fun but would anyone guess the gender of baby #2 using the nub theory?

I’ll be happy either sex of course! I find out in two weeks but i’m about as impatient as they come🙈

Any guesses welcome thank you!!

It's actually very accurate when done correctly :) what gestation was this scan taken at? Xx

I think it depends on the picture, if you get the shot at exactly the right stage at the right angle it’s more likely to be correct.

nub specialist sites have got it wrong for me for two pregnancies, both times they’ve said 90% boy (and I used a couple each time) and both times they were girls, and that included using ramzi theory at early scans and skull theory, all said boy. The second one I’ll let them off as I don’t think a nub was detectable personally (but they still said boy for the other theories), but my first she had a lots of markers for what would be classed as a boy nub, so there lies the problem with it. I’d be surprised if you had a sexing scan that came back boy, I think you’re in the camp where it’s a really clear picture at the right time.

Thank you for your reply, the nub techs guessed my sons correctly in 2021 and i sent this one off to the gender experts this time and they said girl. I do think i've had clear nubs both times, i can totally see how others pictures are guessed incorrectly tho if they aren't clear.

Makes a lot of sense!

I have to admit i've been obsessing over this theory since the day of my 12 week scan and i'm 16 weeks tomorrow🙈

@AlishaLouise it’s just exciting isn’t it. Update us! I find out on Wednesday (20wks) so I’ll let you know too as I’d say mine looks a bit of both 😂 x
