Hey guys me again, I'm about 5 weeks 3 days with my second, and I'm cramping a lot, it's like mild but enough to notice it. Like small period cramps no bleeding

It's been like it for a week, it comes and goes all day, is this normal? I just can't remember what it was like with my first! And I lost a baby last year so I'm anxious!

I had quite severe cramping at 5 weeks pregnant, but I just put it down to things stretching. Currently 34 weeks pregnant with her now 🥰 good luck op xxx

Hey! Thank you was yours one sided? Mine is mainly one sided it's like a period cramp and sometimes dull backache, it's mainly on my left side

Hi, I had the exact same as you and now I'm 18 weeks with mild cramping again. I do believe it is round ligament pain. As I did start showing quite early, as long as the pain doesn't tensify and you don't bleed I wouldn't worry chicken. X

OP how was things in the end? I'm getting this at the moment and I'm 5 weeks 1 day I believe, glad I found your post and positive comments on it. Hope everything is okay for you 🙂

So sorry to hear about your loss, this must be a very anxious time for you.

Cramping is totally normal, and it goes on for ages! Very cruel of nature to make it so similar to period pains.

I used to work for a well known baby advice website and our "cramping in early pregnancy" article was the most visited page on the website, very very common.

Hey hun, not the op but as I had same thought I'd answer. I gave birth to a beautiful girl in July. Like I said, I had bad bleeding and cramping early days. But please do go to your early pregnancy unit if you feel unsure. X

Awh congratulations lovely 😍you must be over the moon, hope you're enjoying every second 😍 thank you, I was a bit worried yesterday but I'm okay today, it wasn't really pain as such, just uncomfortable like mild periods cramps and no blood or anything just noticeably there but did ease if I moved or rested so I'm thinking possibly ligament pain too, I guess everything is moving and stretching at the moment. I'll definitely call them if I get worried again though x
