Hello,

I had 3 MCs and 2 CPs last year. The recurrent MC clinic prescribed me aspirin and progesterone from ‘mid cycle - around CD21.
I usually have 33 day cycles. This cycle I ovulated CD20 - attached pic.
As I didn’t ovulate until later, I decided that I’d take progesterone from faint line on a test.

Is it possible that I implanted really early, considering I didn’t ovulate until CD20? I don’t think I could have ovulated earlier. Has this happened to anyone else?

I know these lines are super faint and I need to just wait it out but interested to hear from anyone that experienced similar.

two tests 8DPO AM
three tests 8DPO PM

thanks

I’d get a frer as the strip tests have a sensitivity of 25MlU/ML so I’d be very surprised at anything showing up at 8dpo. I’ve seen a lot of people saying the strip tests show a shadow where the line would be even though they’re negative so I wouldn’t trust until confirmed with a more sensitive test.

I can definitely see lines on all 3, I used easy@home at 9dpo and got a line so think it’s definitely possible you implanted early xx

ASwimInAPondInTheRain · 07/02/2023 20:15

I used easy at home at 8/9 dpo and got positives too! I did some FRER to check / confirm. I hope this is your sticky bean x

chasingtherainbow1 · 07/02/2023 20:36

I got a line on easy@home on 8DPO. It looked similar to yours. Fingers crossed for you!

I also suffered 3 miscarriages before this pregnancy (currently 32 weeks) and I believe it was the progesterone that helped so I would start taking now x

ScrantonDunderMifflin · 07/02/2023 21:07

I got a line at 8DPO with 25 Miu/ml as well as easy at home.
Wouldn't waste money on FRERS as they're definitely not better than the ones you've taken x

Thank you so much for all your responses I really appreciate it. I feel so alone with these thoughts. I used the clearblue I had in my drawer and was positive alongside the two ICs. I had one LH test left too so thought what the heck and dipped that too 😂 I was intrigued to see it and that was a dark line.

Thanks @Twoinapod I tried to get a FRER today on my lunch break but the King and Camilla were blocking the way to the Pharmacy so I couldn’t go 😆 I will try and get a pack tomorrow or Friday.

Thank you @ChloeN it’s reassuring that you got a line early too. Did you get good progression with easy@home?

Thank you @ASwimInAPondInTheRain what dpo did you use your first freer?

Congratulations @chasingtherainbow1 I’m so happy for you and you give me hope. I started taking it from 8DPO so hopefully it has helped, I’m glad it helped you too. Did you have any support from your trust with this pregnancy in early pregnancy at all?

Thank you @ScrantonDunderMifflin great name btw 😆 FRERS have never got very dark with me, even with my son 3 years ago so they make me a bit anxious!

@Amyjones86 aww that's great news! It should be fine taking progesterone now. I had been to see a private doctor who wanted to do some scans in the early weeks, think it was 6 and 8 weeks so I didn't see the nhs. They'd been a bit rubbish with me previously but I know some people who have had great experiences too. Good luck with this pregnancy and never stop believing it can happen ☺️

ChloeN · 08/02/2023 20:52

@Amyjones86 yeah I did you could clearly see them progressing! The only issue I had was that I had 2 different boxes of the same test, so one did actually show slightly darker than the other! (Only found out because I panicked one day because it was lighter before realising it was from the other batch) xxx

Amyjones86 · 08/02/2023 20:59

Yeah they weren’t great with me during my last miscarriage I really had to push to be seen but were excellent during my miscarriage before my son 🤷🏻‍♀️ how did you feel about the early scans? Did they help you? I had one at just over 7 weeks with my son and was so anxious my legs were shaking so much I couldn’t get up on the bed!

Hi @Amyjones86 I just wondered how you were getting on. X

Amyjones86 · 14/02/2023 14:42

Hi @ASwimInAPondInTheRain thank you for your message I had some light spotting on Saturday eve and Sunday morning. Yesterday I had some light brown spotting when I wiped. I did think it was all over and it still may well be but I am just waiting to see. I spoke to my NHS and my private consultant and neither of them seem bothered particularly and just told me to keep taking the progesterone which I have been doing. So fingers crossed. I hope you are ok.
my latest tests were this afternoon including the digital which I never got after bleeding with my MCs X
