Stretch marks are agony

Hi, has anyone experienced this? I’m 40+2 and my skin has really stretch in the last months. For a couple of weeks now they have been getting more inflamed and have pumps on them. They are itching and burning and it gets worse at night which means I’m not able to sleep. I have tried E45 cream, fragrance free moisturiser and bio oil and nothing is helping.
dies anyone know what is causing this or how to treat it? With baby coming any day I could really do with some sleep

I haven’t experienced this myself but it looks so sore 😣 you can buy ‘bump masks’ from Boots, like a face mask but larger for your bump! I imagine if you put this in the fridge for a bit before applying it might help soothe your bump? Or maybe a warm bath and a lot of bio oil/moisturiser just before you go to bed? I hope it gets better for you soon, doesn’t sound like you’ve got long to go!

Unfortunately stretch marks are in the deeper layers of the skin so creams won’t affect them. Drinking lots of water can help hydrate from the inside. Doesn’t sound like you have long to go. Good luck
