I did a pregnancy test on Friday 3rd Feb as I was a week late and had signs of pregnancy, clear blue comes back positive with in seconds did my dates and I'm 5 weeks. Very happy and over the moon them yesterday morning I started bleeding it's was red and watery only there when I wiped, I put a pad in and expected the worse but bleeding didn't even fill the pad then it stopped by the time I went to bed last night. I have had some mild cramping but no clots or tissue when I have wiped and my breasts are still really tender and blue veins. This is my 3rd pregnancy I never had any bleeding with my previous pregnancies, I thought it may just be implantation bleeding but not sure if 5 weeks pregnant is too late for this. Not sure if GP or early pregnancy unit at hospital will do anything as it's so early.
Thank you for any advice.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this. Bleeding in early pregnancy is really scary. There could be various reasons for that to happen. It could be a miscarriage, implantation bleeding, a bleed from a hematoma, from the cervix, and sometimes no cause for bleeding is found.
Unfortunately the only thing at this point you can do is to wait. My EPU said they don't scan before 6 weeks because most of the time nothing can be seen yet before then. So maybe wait a few days until you're 6 weeks along and give your GP a call.
If your bleeding gets worse again and/or you have any pains, best to go to a&e.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Thank you very much for your reply and advice. I haven't had any more bleeding since yesterday and even the mild cramping has stopped and I still have my pregnancy symptoms. So fingers crossed everything is fine, but i will get checked out at 6 weeks just for peace of mind else it's going to be a long 9 months.
