Pelvic/vaginal pressure

Hello all. Currently 12 weeks and waiting for my first scan on Monday.

I’ve been feeling some pelvic/Vaginal pressure (best way I can describe it!) the past couple of days. It isn’t necessarily painful but feels like a heavy-ish pressure weighing down in my uterus/just below.

I know I can drive myself crazy with googling and unfortunately I can’t get enough to the maternity dept at my hospital so just wondering if anybody has experienced this at this stage? This is my first pregnancy so apologies if it’s super common and I’m being a bit dramatic!

thank you all xx

I didn't want to read and run. Do you have any other symptoms? Could it be a UTI?
I believe they're more common in pregnancy (could be wrong)
Congratulations! Xxx

@twoandcooplease No other symptoms other than my usual (fatigue and feeling “icky”) I was wondering UTI. Perhaps I will keep trying them! Thank you! Xxx

Hello, I know this is a few weeks old but I’m experiencing similar.
Has the feeling now passed for you?
Thanks x

@Mamaseekingrainbow I do occasionally have some light pressure but no way as intense as it was! I'm 19 weeks now and at my midwife appointment last week she said he's currently quite low in my pelvis but will be pushed up more as he grows! xx

I'm sure I woke up one day at 12ish weeks and had this!!! Not a uti etc. Odd feeling when you've never experienced it before 🤣 I still get it now at 26 weeks. Think it depends on baby's position /how much I need a wee lol.
