40+4 and no sign of baby, meanwhile I feel surrounded by threads of others going into labour already. When will it be my turn 😩 Anyone else out there in the same position?

It's like being picked for sports day all over again... I'll just pull up a chair and wait till the very end...

I know the feeling OP. Currently one week overdue and no signs. Have you had/been offered a sweep yet? My midwife attempted one a few days ago but my cervix was still closed 😔

Yes I had one on Wednesday and was in so much discomfort afterwards, I was adamant it had to be the start of labour. But here I still am and all "signs" seem to have vanished completely. I'm doing (almost) everything that Google suggests but he is staying firmly put it seems. Was 8 days overdue with first, so think I'm destined to be pregnant forever!
