Signs labour might be near?

I’m 36+6 weeks pregnant with my first baby and have a planned c section booked towards the end of this month. The past couple of days I’ve had some unusual symptoms, I don’t know if I’m just overthinking but wanted to check to see if anyone thinks they could be a sign that labour is near?

I’ve had a bit of an upset stomach for a couple of days and have been needing the toilet quite a lot more than usual. I also feel really weepy and very emotional, I can feel myself welling up at nothing at all and don’t know why I’m so teary. I’ve also had a really bad headache for a couple of days (I have no other symptoms of pre eclampsia but I’m aware to watch out for it!) which water and paracetamol don’t seem to be helping. I’ve had some cramping on and off too but not consistent enough to seem like contractions.

Does anyone know if these are signs that labour might be near? If I go into labour before my planned c section date I’ve been told to go straight to the hospital.

Sounds to me like your body could be starting to get ready but this can go on for weeks.

They can be but annoyingly don’t mean labour is near as they can persist or happen weeks before.
I had all of those things and DD still went to 41+3, induced by ARM.
Hope your baby doesn’t keep you waiting too long and wishing you a safe delivery

It could be something or could be nothing. With both my previous labours I had not one sign at all, I literally felt normal not even a twinge and both times contractions started early hours of the morning with baby arriving later in the day both times.
