Bruised after scan

I had my nuchal scan today, the sonographer struggled to get a clear image for measurements so she was pushing down very hard, you could see the indent from the probe pushing the baby’s head. I have a huge bruise across my stomach from this and I’m having some cramping. I may be over reacting as I know they need to be quite forceful sometimes, but should I be concerned?

If you are concerned I'd contact your midwife always best to get checked out, though I've never heard of someone being bruised from a scan. I'd possibly put in a complaint to the hospital about this as that isn't okay.

My 12 week he was very rough, I felt bruised too. I can remember if any aching but possibly. Everything was ok so try not to worry

I had a bruise after the 12 week scan as they needed to press for the measurements but after a day or two I was fine.
