7/8 weeks pregnant 3rd baby - heavy low feeling in cervix/uterus

Hello

3rd baby and I’m about 7.5 weeks pregnant. Since 6 weeks if I’m on my feet a lot I get an awful heavy feeling in my uterus, almost like I have an uncomfy mooncup in. If I keep off my feet it is fine but if I walk for more than 15 mins it comes back. I’m guessing it’s some kind of mild prolapse? I’ve had a feel and nothing is sticking out, my cervix is about a full finger length in unless very constipated. Sorry tmi!

i had a women’s health physio check last year and all was fine other than she said a mild bladder prolapse so I don’t know if that is anything to do with it? It hasn’t caused me any issues before this pregnancy.

I carried my first two children very low (midwife always commented on it!)

im hoping once I get over 12 weeks and it all moves out of my pelvis it will be more comfortable or is this what’s it’s going to be like for the whole time?! Keeping off my feet is not good for fitness levels!!

any advice would be fab, obviously will mention to midwife at booking in.

Could be a prolapse I guess, but if you can't feel anything (bulging walls etc, not just something poking out) then it seems unlikely you'd be feeling a dragging if there's nothing to drag iyswim.
How is your pelvic floor? Too tight and you might get a sort of heavy feeling. Ditto too weak (a different feeling but I guess could also be described as heavy). Do you need to relax it more, or strengthen it?

Thanks for replying, definitely Nothing sticking out but at times it felt like I had an uncomfy tampon in it that makes sense?

when I had my check up last year she rated my pelvic floor strength a 4 out of 5.

I guess it wouldn’t hurt to book into see her again?

im doing pelvic floors twice a day now so maybe that’s why it feels a tiny bit better today but I am also deliberating not walking much which is not good for my fitness!!

xx

Hi I have had daily spotting but only after a bowel movement and i can feel my cervix when i wipe it is very very low. I have had a early scan at what I thought was 7 weeks (not sure on dates tbh) but only measuring 3/4 weeks and no heartbeat visible. Going back next Thursday 16/02/23 (will be 5/6 weeks) my main worry is how low my cervix is and what complications can arise the midwife at the epu said my gp will need to refer to Gyne but I'm holding off until after next Thursday so I know if we are still viable. Anyone else had pregnancy and a possible prolapse?
