Dots all over my body

I'm 17 weeks now, and around week 16 I began noticing all these red dots all over my tummy and arms. At first I thought it could be prurigo but I've not heard any cases of it occurring on arms....
They don't hurt or anything and they're not spots, but some kind of discoloration like a rash.

I've already contacted my midwife about it and I'm waiting on a response, but I was wondering if anyone else experienced something similar? Thank you for your replies!

This is interesting to me. Are they little red dots? I've had mine for years now and looking back pretty sure they started when I was pregnant with my first. I did ask my doctor about them but he said he didn't know what they are and told me not to worry as if they were serious he'd be able to identify it quickly (basically saying they wouldn't be on his radar as anything to worry about). It still didn't satisfy my curiosity and I still don't know what they are, but here I am nearly 10 years later still sporting my dots!

I get this (not pregnancy related) - for me it’s a petechial rash related to low platelets. It might be worth asking the midwife for a blood test.

I’m guessing you don’t have what I did when pregnant as it was quite itchy but suggesting it in case: pityriasis rosea. Looked s lit like chickenpox and started on my torso then spread to arms and legs. Worth googling in case. If you do have it, just know it didn’t cause any issues at all in pregnancy, it was just annoying.
