Hello, does anyone have any positive stories? I started to bleed Sunday, went the hospital for bloods had a scan the next morning which showed a sac couldn't do all the measurements due to a clot around. I've went back in on weds and my jcb was rising. They then told me to wait till saturday for a scan. I got called up yesterday saying they didn't want me to wait and wanted me in in the morning. I don't understand how they are concerned eptopic if there was a sac on uterus.

With my ectopic my uterus was completely empty. With my current pregnancy I had a scan at 5+5 to check placement and they saw a gestational sac with yolk sac in the uterus (but it was too early to see the fetal pole), this was enough to rule out another ectopic. Have they told you their concern is ectopic? Because that does seem odd if they've seen a sac!

Just had the appointment with the nurse they are concerned as there seems to both a sac and eptopic. Did you have to have your tube removed?

I didn't have my tube removed. I started spotting at 7+2 which is why I went in and they found it. Because I had a small amount of free fluid in my abdomen I wasn't suitable for methotrexate, but I wasn't in too much pain so we did bloods over 48 hours and my HCG levels went down. I was back in for bloods every 48 hours for almost 2 weeks until it had resolved itself (the body can absorb it). Wishing you the best!

Thank you. They have discharged me again now. Consultant and nurses don't agree. Consultant feels viable pregnancy in my tummy and nurses feel an eptopic. Got ready for surgery and then they cancelled and have sent me home until I have repeat bloods tomorrow.

@Priceann so sorry you are going through this. I had that too, told not to eat/drink anything would need emergency surgery but then they decided to wait and see for 24/48 hours and I was under strict instructions to let them know if my symptoms changed at all. It was such a worrying wait. I'm hoping for the best for you! Praying for a viable pregnancy x
