Ectopic - how quickly were you treated?

I've been told I have a suspected scar ectopic. I have to be re scanned by a specialist on Friday to determine this.

has anyone had any experience of this? Is your ectopic was asymptomatic did they treat it on the same day or did you go home?

Hello @NancyVicious how are you ? I hope you’re ok What was the outcome ? I’m currently facing a similar issue and being rescanned Friday

My ectopics were asymptomatic until they ruptured but both were live - had heartbeats. Diagnosed very quickly in that sense but I know several ladies who it took several days to confirm an ectopic because they had to have hcg levels monitored to the point that they should have been high enough to see a sac and if then nothing was seen or the sac found in the scar or tube then they could treat it

i'm sorry to hear that, it's such a worrying time. I was scanned a few days later and the pregnancy was found to be in a normal place but sadly my baby had no heartbeat.

thinking of you, I hope you get better news x
