Hey all ,
very anxious FTM petrified of labour but that’s being dealt with under perinatal . Not been having many signs BH seems to have stopped typically and having a sweep on Friday and booked for a section next week although would sooner avoid . However the past few nights my tummy tightens to the point I feel pretty much all of baby’s outline , she’s moving fine etc . Now I thought tightening are usually painful or is this not so . Can anyone explain to me what this could be . Some mild everynow and again period cramps but very mild at this time

Are your tightening not painful, or just slightly sore? If that's the case then they're braxton hicks. X

Tightenings (if braxton hicks) shouldn’t be painful but can be uncomfortable. They should stop if you move around. If they are painful and don’t go then most likely contractions.
