Hi all. So I've had the genital herpes virus for a year and half now and was managing my outbreaks really well before coming pregnant I was on acyclovir twice a day to suppress and barely had any outbreaks probably one or two in a year.
I fell pregnant in December and for the past 2 months I am having constant painful outbreaks ! I have had around 4 since December now and it's really getting me down.
Has anyone else experienced constant outbreaks during pregnancy and how to reduce them? I am really worrying about my baby being OK and didn't take the ayclovir when I got pregnant as I wersnt sure it was safe. So now only taking when I have an outbreak which is constantly ! So fed up. And so worried about the birth too if my outbreaks are constant
