High blood pressure in umbilical cord 32 week scan....worried

Hi,

I'm 32 weeks pregnant, everything had been going really well, other than being diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 28 weeks, which has been well diet controlled, until in the last week my fasting levels have been a bit up, I've been put on insulin at bedtime for this. I had my 32 week growth scan today and the sonographer said that I have high blood pressure in my umbilical cord and the babies growth had slowed down slightly. I have been booked for a rescan in 3 days and another in 7 days. They said that it can be just a blip and it maybe normal on the next scan in 3 days. My consultant didn't seem to worried about it and was still talking about delivery at 38 weeks as originally planned.
I am really worried, my blood pressure had also gone up from my usual 130 to 140, which is still fine but I'm worried that it's rising. I had pre eclampsia in my previous pregnancy but that was 17 years ago and a twin pregnancy, this one is a a singleton.
I'm just generally really worried now that something is going wrong. I don't know much about the high blood pressure in the umbilical cord and I just wondering if anyone has had any experience of this?
Sorry for the long post
