Brown discharge along with backache 8 weeks pregnant

Hi everyone, just here looking for some advice. I'm really worried as I had a miscarriage about a year ago I already have a 7year old which that pregnancy went so smoothly. Recently just found out I'm pregnant again, I'm around 8 weeks and started getting brown discharge yesterday and again today, I am actually thinking the worst but still have that little bit hope. I also started getting backache when the bleeding started yesterday but it has calmed down.
Has anyone else experienced this and it turned out to be ok? It's so hard when we're just left to deal with this situation having to see if the bleeding stops or not.

@Tyler2015 amazing news, so happy for you. Sounds the same as mine and she's currently wriggling away in my bump.

Can you push for some progesterone? The consultant who saw me after my scan said that spotting and bleeding can be indicative of low or borderline progesterone and that's why they put me on it.

@Tyler2015 Can I ask how you got on with your pregnancy? Currently 8+5 with the same symptoms brown discharge and backache being told threatened miscarriage. So just wondering if there is any hope for me x

Course, I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant and things are going well. No idea what the bleeding was but I'm so pleased it turned out to be nothing to worry about.
Hoping you have the same outcome 🙏 . It's such a worrying time and I know we can't help thinking the worst but try not to worry too much it may just stop like mine did.
I had a scan because of the bleeding and there was a heartbeat so that give me hope. X
