Pregnancy-safe toiletries?

I've stumbled upon this topic and am getting freaked out. Endocrine disruptors are apparently in everything!

EWG has a database of toiletries and apparenrly all the stuff i usually use is not recommended. Fragrance is apparently problematic but I love things that smell nice. I understand salicylic acid and retinols can be problematic; but willow bark extract?! Limonene?

I am quite stressed and conscious I am anxious.

Should I be swapping out all my toiletries for non-perfumed things or do I need to get a grip and remind myself that most people have babies without terrible birth defects despite using Pantene?

I think it's definitely the latter option there! I've never had a midwife mention anything about toiletries. It's not like you're drinking shampoo. Maybe time to step away from Google and try to look at things calmly. I know it's daunting but people have perfectly healthy babies every day.

I've never switched my toiletries ever and have 3 healthy DC.

Thank you. I struggle with anxiety at the best of times. Stepping away from Google...

This didn’t even occur to me when I was pregnant. Definitely step away from google.

You'll be fine with what you have op, honestly.

I moved to natural deodorant and changed shampoo when pregnant with my first, with my second I didn’t even think about it. Both healthy babies.
