Bump pain

Just after a little advice please, it's been nearly 11 years since I was last pregnant so I feel like it's all new to me again. I'm currently 26 weeks and have been having the worst pain at the top right side of my bump- as the weeks are getting on it seems to be getting worst. It's like a sharp burning bruised pain- hard to explain really but it's persistent and seems to be worse in the evenings, making it a nightmare to sleep. (As well as the joyful backache) I never experienced this with either of my girls, am I being dramatic and it's just growing pains???

I had something similar with my last two pregnancies but on the top left side of my bump - like a deep tingling achey feeling in one particular spot that gradually got worse depending on my position. Was absolutely awful but went away both times after giving birth thankfully. No doctors, midwives or even google had any idea what was causing it. I eventually decided it was a trapped nerve.

Having said that, I think I remember reading that pain on the right side of your bump can be related to pre-eclampsia, so it might be worth getting checked out to be safe.

Hi, I'm getting stitch pains in the left hand side of my bump on and off when I walk.

I also get a tingling sensation like pins and needles in my left hip/groin when I lay on either side.

Dr said she thinks they're both related to trapped nerves so has referred me for physio.

I'm 21 weeks but have been getting the second pain I mentioned since 12 weeks.
The first pain has only just started happening in the last few weeks.

Xx

Do you anterior placenta? I had this with DD and midwife just said it was either her head or feet but as placenta was at the front it was hard to feel. Even at the end I could only feel moving when she was booting me in the ribs 😂
