My waters or lots of discharge?

hey Everyone, currently 37+2. Sorry for TMI but every night I wake up to lots of what I think is discharge. I lost parts if my mucus plug a few weeks ago. This last week I’ve had lots of discharge during the night . I’m hoping it discharge as it’s not as bad in the day. Has anyone else had excess discharge towards the end that wasn’t your waters breaking.
should I get checked out to see if it has been my waters .

Yes! Am almost 39 weeks now and it's been really bad since about 36 weeks, and is getting worse. Midwife checked me and said it's normal, even though I'm having to wear a pad all the time now- a pantyliner isn't enough.

I'd let your midwife know anyway, because of the mucus plug- I lost mine at 35ish weeks and had tightenings, so they admitted me for a while. Though at 37 weeks, you're not classed as premature so they'd probably just leave it.

@PotatoFacedWombat this is exactly like me. Got admitted at 35/36 weeks for them to keep an eye .

I would tell your midwife! I was advised that if you wear a pad and it soaks through, it might be your waters.
Give your midwife a call and see what they advise ❤

Hi ladies,

Sorry in advance for the TMI but hoping that you'd have either been through it or going through it.

I'm 40+1 and had a sweep yesterday as well as the clary sage oil and lavender bath last night and at 4am woke with cramp in my calf so stood up and had a gush of fluid.

Has anyone had this before, is it just increased discharge or are my waters going?

So sorry for the photo but hoping someone can help.

Will call my midwife at 8am after I drop my daughter at nursery.
