Clear blue dates indicator reading ahead

Good morning everyone.
Just looking for a bit of advice.
I took two boots own brand tests Saturday morning and they came up positive before it had even fully absorbed which I thought was very strange and according to my dates I should be 4+ 4.
This morning I took a clear blue dates indicator which read 3+ weeks from conception meaning 5+ weeks pregnant.
Has anyone experienced this before?
thank you

I wouldn’t worry! You might have implanted earlier so your levels have just risen a bit quicker, I had dark lines that appeared quickly from the day my period was due xx

Your own dates are 4 plus 6 days though so you are very almost 5 weeks? They’re not that accurate. When you have your scan they will check your dates but ime they will go by your date of last period unless the two are very different. It’s not an exact science!

Thank you ladies. I was just very unsure. Thought it might have been an indication to multiples and started to panic as I would have no where to put them 🤣

Hi, I’ve had the same thing and wondering what the outcome of yours was? The tests were accurate for my first pregnancy so was surprised to read 3+ weeks on the day of my missed period and also having a multiples panic!! 😂 Thanks

Hi @SWmum21 I think it was reading ahead for a number of reasons.
My pregnancy began as a twin pregnancy (unfortunately lost one) which could account for higher hcg levels
And I'm measuring 8 days ahead in scans due to short cycle and ovulating early.
Hope this helps
I'm almost 19weeks now so all good so far 😊

Thanks so much for replying and congratulations on reaching 19 weeks! I’m sorry to hear it did start as a twin pregnancy and you lost one.
I have an early scan next week to hopefully provide some answers 😅
