Hi! I'm after any advice/reassurance - I'm 20 weeks pregnant and the pregnancy was a surprise! I'm super excited about it and delighted to be having a baby but I'm so stressed as I have also just changed jobs (long notice period from previous job, left at Christmas), and my partner and I are trying to move house but have had such bad luck and now not sure if I will have been in the new job long enough to be able to get a new mortgage on maternity leave and just in a constant state of panic due to all the uncertainties!! Does anyone have any advice?! Thank you :)

Focus on the things you can control. Figure out exactly where you stand with mat pay & the new contract - this should ease anxiety about the uncertainty.

Try and use the time now to prepare and sort all the stress before baby comes so you can just spend the first few weeks and months getting to know your baby and yourself as a new mum!

for me, becoming a mum was life changing in the best possible way. People love to tell you the hard bits but not enough people tell you it (can be) incredible too! Good luck
