Had girl and boy guesses? What do you think?

I know it's all just a bit of fun but I've had both girl and boy guesses from "nub experts" and I'm just wondering if anyone else has any thoughts. The pictures were taken when I was 13+4.
I'm certainly no expert myself but to me, the nub looks to be less of an angle than that drawn by the official prediction I received. Almost like they haven't followed the line of the actual nub? Does that look right to you?
Two pictures attached :)
We're also team green so won't be finding out before the birth!

I would say girl. But I have no idea how to identify the bladder etc just the nub seems flatter than the angle they drew.

Hello, sorry nothing constructive to offer as I can’t tell! Had my 12 week scan last and it’s driving me a bit mad also. I go back and forth.

I hope some cleverer people than me come along and make some useful guesses x

LouLa7 · 27/01/2023 17:38

Thanks for your replies both :)
I think it's just the angle that they drew that's got me all confused too, it just seems off!
I've got a long time to wait until I find out seeing as we aren't having an early scan but I just can't help but keep looking at the pictures and trying to work it out 🙈

Oh I was told girl when I did this with one of mine and he is definitely a boy!! Take it all in good fun, I don't think it's really that accurate.

Love, I made my partner by a protractor today to measure the angle of the thing I assume is the nub and still none the wiser 😂Seems to be sticking up a bit but angle is under 30 degrees. It’s a mystery to me. I’ll have to wait until my NIPT test finally know. Partner and I have to tell his 11 year old daughter very soon so thought being armed with this info might be helpful so that it feels more real to her and less ethereal.

I know I’m the same as you, can’t stop looking. Sometimes sleep with the scan images under my pillow too

Good luck and keep us posted. I will too x

Girl

LouLa7 · 27/01/2023 23:29

@TigerQueen89 oh wow, a protractor 😂 I've not used one of those in a LONG time! I don't think I'd get it right with one of those myself either.
Really I should just find out the gender but we didn't find out with my last baby and it was so lovely my husband being the first person to tell me the sex when she was born that I'm hoping for the same thing again. I'm not fussed either way but it would mean I'd have a lot less clothes to buy if I had a girl!
Do you have an inkling what you're having? I do feel deep down like it's a boy but this funny angled nub is throwing me off!

I’d guess girl but really hard to tell

Good luck and health to all xx

LouLa7 · 28/01/2023 08:04

@CatchHimDerry it's so tricky isn't it?! Thanks though x

I actually think the bladder is higher than a boy, so id say girl.

LouLa7 · 28/01/2023 09:08

@KangarooKenny oh really? I have no idea about bladder position or anything like that so that's interesting. Thanks for your guess 😊

100% had the same
all guesses on here sed straight nub and girl!
paid £10 and they sed early raising of nub i culdnt see it and sed 85% boy
three scans later all deffo girl im 29 weeks now and its very obvious

TigerQueen89 · 28/01/2023 19:54

@KangarooKenny ah that’s so nice! I actually hadn’t thought how nice it be to find out in the moment. It surely adds to the euphoria.

Yeah I’m really not sure either way, I’ve had the worse sickness throughout the first 14 weeks and I know that can be the sign of a girl, but overall keeping an open mind! xx

LouLa7 · 28/01/2023 22:01

@J1290 that's exactly the same as me. They said 85% boy too! Apparently the reason they were only saying 85% is because they would usually see some "stacking" (whatever that means) but there was none visible - most likely due to the ultrasound scanner not being quite in the right place. I know it's all just a bit of fun and really I don't want definitive confirmation because we're not planning to find out, but at the same time I'm impatient to know now 😂
