Telling my teenager I’m pregnant

Me and my daughter have always been so close she knows me like no other and knows somethings up, I’m only 4 pregnant weeks but feel I may need to tell her as whatever happens she will know somethings not right.
She’s 12 so still young but very responsible and I feel bad keeping such a secret from her. what are your opinions?

My daughter was 9 when I got pregnant, I told her as if anything bad happened she’s old enough to see that there’s something wrong, so I thought it was better to tell her.

How good is she at keeping secrets? My oldest was just under 9 when I got pregnant. We told them but stressed that we wouldn't be telling anyone else for weeks and briefly why. If there's a risk she'll tell her school friend or extended family, maybe hold off for a few weeks, but you know your DD.

We ended up taking the older DC to a private scan at 9 weeks, more because of lack of childcare than anything else. Thankfully all good news, but you do need to be aware that generally it's good news, but might not always be, and how you temper that. Could she have a "yuck" response, too, because she didn't know you have sex still? She's getting to the age of teenagers being squeamish about that.

I had to tell my 13 year old son I was pregnant. It was worse than telling my mum when I was pregnant at 17 😂 however he reacted brilliant and he's so excited to be a big brother. We took him to a private scan so he could be involved as he isn't allowed at the nhs scans and he done the gender reveal for us

Should have added I was only 7 weeks when we told him as he would have guessed something wasn't right as we are so close
