Hgc stayed the same

Hello,

My LMP started 12th December, my periods can be irregular but never normally too long, somewhere between 28-32 days. I had a positive test 9th January and was booked into EPU due to multiple miscarriages previously (this is pregnancy number 10).

I have a scan on what should have dated me 6 weeks. Throughout the scan the sonographer said that there was nothing on the scan to be seen, she requested bloods. My HCG read 354 on Tuesday afternoon and exactly the same on Thursday morning. They have called me back for next Tuesday for another scan and bloods.

I know it's going to be non viable but just so confused as to why my hcg has stayed the same. There has been no bleeding and just a few cramps.

Anyone else had something similar?

In my case hcg increased but too little. As well without bleeding alor notable cramps. Unfortunately, indeed this shows most of the times the pregnancy is non-viable... most likely it has to do chromosomes and the pregnancy just didn't evolve.

Thank you for your kind words! It's the waiting that is so hard. Slightly worried about having to have injections as they queried ectopic, I know that medicine can be quite strong 😳
