Evening fever in the first trimester

Hi all, I’m 9 weeks and everything has been ok except that I find myself getting an elevated temperature in the late afternoon/evening pretty much every day. It doesn’t seem to go above 37.4 (99.3). I’m not sure if that’s because I’m taking Panadol and it would be higher otherwise.

Anyway even though that’s not technically considered a ‘fever’ I also find myself feeling fevery and just awful with the temperature rise and I have to lie down.

My other first trimester symptoms have been pretty much constant nausea and extreme fatigue. All bloods and scans seem good so far.

I should mention that I had covid about a week ago. All the symptoms I initially had cleared a week ago and I’m testing negative but maybe this is still to do with that…

Or these painful little nighttime ‘fevers’ are something others have experienced normally in pregnancy?

Getting a bit scared with how regular it is.

You're probably just really tired in the evening, lots of people get hot or flushed then. A fever from illness doesn't come and go at set times each day.

Does anyone have experience with getting a sick note in the first trimester? I feel so ill with many different symptoms and it’s increasingly impossible to focus on work. Please and thank you to anyone sharing their experience.
