1st Period or Implantation 16 months BF

Hi,
I've been breastfeeding for 16months, I've not had a period in the whole time. My LG is still feeding a whole lot overnight, although is gracing us with larger stretches the past month.

We've had unprotected sex recently, and yesterday I got some light bleeding that was dark brown. It wasn't enough to overfill a pantyliner, and has stopped.

Could this be my first period? Or could it be implantation bleeding?

I've taken a test first thing this morning and a negative result.

Just wondering what others first periods were like after breastfeeding for so long?

To add, I've not had any bleeding since, just that one bit.

How long since you had sex? I'd maybe test again in a week or so?

Mine was just like a normal period, but I got mine about 6 months pp don't know if that makes a difference

It was 6 days previous that we had unprotected sex.

I'm wondering if it's short because she started feeding more frequently overnight again 🤔

I had some more bleeding yesterday again but only a tiny bit and it's stopped again. Still negative on tests. So maybe it's just my body working out the routine I guess?
