Ladies! I’m a week post op, and I’ve just noticed my right sided abdo had a tender lump in line with my belly button but across lower abdo… is this normal?

also how hard is it for the belly to go back to shape? I currently look like a water bed😂😫

Not sure about the lump don't remember that but if your worried I'd let your midwife know. As for getting back into shape, my belly took months to recover from c section, was swollen/bruised for a long time, but It does go back to normal

I would just ask health visitor or midwife to look at your next visit. No one checked mine and I wish I’d just forced someone to look 🙈 Unless you feel unwell or like it’s infected. The water bed thing does last a few weeks but I think by 6 weeks I started to feel much more normal
