Hi all, I have read that you can take a test any time of the day once your passed your missed period, but that a weeks indicator test should only be FMU.
I have had 2 previous CPs and am currently 5 weeks pregnant, had a positive test 9 days ago. I have a horrible feeling from the pains have that I am having another CP but the only test I have in the house is a weeks indicator….does anyone know how strict the ‘FMU’ rule is? Can you still get 2-3 weeks from an evening wee?
I know the best thing to do would be to wait until tomorrow morning but I have a busy day in the office tomorrow so would rather try and prepare myself tonight if the worst is going to happen!!

I think you would still probably get a 2-3 weeks with an evening wee, I did when I was about 4.5 weeks on a diluted wee because I’d just bought the test and wanted to use it asap🤦🏻‍♀️

I'd say so, when I first tested 11 years ago I didn't know anything about FMU and it was fine, good luck!

I took my tests in the evening (first response and clear blue indicator) and got positive 2-3 weeks no issue so you should be fine

Maybe don't drink a load and hold your bladder for a few hours before hand if you're worried?

Just had this with a 2 hour hold, I know it doesn’t guarantee anything but it has helped put my mind at ease for tonight!
Thank you ladies for your responses!
