- So I am 38 weeks tomorrow
- I have suspected insulin resistance although haven’t tested positive for GD
- Baby is already measuring estimated 8lb with off the scale abdomen measurements
Consultant has recommended sweeps at 38+2, 38+6 and then induction at 39+1. I think they are worried about accelerated abdomen growth and shoulder dystocia.
Does this sound like a reasonable course of action?
my first child came spontaneously at 37 weeks so I have no experience of induction.
