When did you bleed if you had a chemical pregnancy?

I took a test on Saturday with FMU after being a week late for AF and saw a faint but clear positive. I waited till Monday morning and tested again and it was even fainter and then today it's pretty much a negative :(

I estimate I'm just over 5 weeks according to LMP but have no idea when I ovulated.

This was my first cycle after stopping the pill and had been using (slightly) out of date ovulation sticks which were always negative so I assumed I didnt ovulate (obvs I was wrong - lesson learnt!😂)

I've resigned myself to the fact that it's an early miscarriage but I have no cramping or blood whatsoever and have the same nausea and fatigue like I did from my first trimester with DS1

So if you've experienced something similar when did you start to bleed?! I just want it to be over :(

I'm really sorry you're going through this.
I had a chemical pregnancy the beginning of this month. I got a positive on the 6th of jan and didn't start bleeding until the 14th of jan. I didn't get a lighter positive test until the 13th so mine took a while but I've heard of others it only being a few days then they bleed. X

Sorry to hear you are going through this. I experienced this middle of last year and the bleeding started 10 days after my period was due.

I first tested a couple of days before period but, like you, when I tested a few days later it was pretty much gone.

I just feel like I'm in limbo 😬 I want to move on and start thinking about the next cycle but I don't know what's happening until I start bleeding

It happened to me last summer, I started bleeding 10 days after my period was due and had the same thing with a faint line getting fainter.
The worse thing is that I was somehow still hoping as I wasn't bleeding yet but only to be more disappointed later.

On the bright side, I got pregnant again the following cycle and I'm now 29 weeks :-)

Hang in there, it will get better!

I’ve had one chemical pregnancy. I got the positive test on the Friday and started bleeding on the Sunday. So odd that in the space of 2 days I’d already somehow planned out my future with this baby and was surprisingly upset when I started bleeding two days later. I’d say it was like a very heavy period. DH took DC1 out for the afternoon and I lay in bed and dosed up on painkillers. After one day I felt lots better. Seven months later I got pregnant and had my DC2 four months ago.

Hope you are doing ok. I felt a bit strange about it all as I didn’t really consider it a miscarriage just a sort of….missed opportunity. Let yourself feel upset if this is how you feel. Sending love xx

Thanks for the replies ladies :)

Got blood this morning so that's that.

Wasn't even trying/expecting to conceive this month so it feels like an unnecessary complication and disappointment.

Onwards and upwards!

Ah I'm sorry :(

I've had two - the first I started bleeding at what would have been 5 weeks, and a pregnancy test at that time was negative.

The second I got a negative test around when my period was due and 8 days later started bleeding.
