Swings/rockers

Munchkin swing or maxi cosi rocker…..ladies….due with my first, are these swings game changers and worth it or is a baby Bjorn bouncer just as good. Open to any brand just want real feedback/ advice please.

Bit of a crap answer but my experience is it's baby dependent. Had a Fisher Price swing for my eldest that also vibrated, she loved it but mainly when it was on top speed 🙈

Middle daughter hated that swing but loved a baby bean back.

Son quite happy to be in a pretty basic bouncer. If you can wait until baby's here and try them in the two different styles that might help (god I miss Mothercare for trying things out).

I’d wait for a while and see what’s on local groups second hand. I borrowed one of someone in a WhatsApp group for a few months. The one we bought ours hated!! This is the one thing I would never buy new having learnt my lesson. Most can be easily washed and they can take up a lot of room in your house for a few months’ use. Same with jumperoos etc.

Buy second hand, they’re not supposed to be in them long or sleep in them so you don’t get much use out of them. I’d agree with the baby dependent. First daughter loved her swing, hated the bouncer. Second tolerated the bouncer for around 5 minutes, hated anything else.
