Just wondering if anyone on here has become pregnant within 3 months of having their baby?

My baby is about 9 weeks old now and over a week ago me and my partner had sex and the condom broke 🙈 I have had a light spotting for a day, some cramping and a couple random moments of tears (Not like me at all!) we wanted more children at some point but we've only just had one so it's a bit of a scare. I chose not to have the morning after pill because I just thought if it happens it happens. I am fully breastfeeding too so I was told by the doctor that it's a very slim chance. I just feel like I just might be so I am a little scared for my health and the baby's health.

Anyway.. my question is asking anyone if they have been through the process and how your body coped with it all? I have fully recovered but just concerned. I've also read somewhere that having your children closer together can create complications with the attachment of the placenta, resulting in a miscarriage. Also heard that it can increase the chances of autism in the child or premature birth. My first was 8.8. I also heard if you're breastfeeding and conceive it gives you more of a chance to have twins?🙈

If i am pregnant than it will be nice having another addition to the family even if it is soon. It is still early days, too early for a pregnancy test but I have ordered some to test.

If you’re exclusively breastfeeding then you are. 97-98% protected - I didn’t use anything until my period returned.
They say you’re covered for first 6 months if ebf - that’s as long as no solids, no formula, no dummy, and still feeding overnight.
Even if not breastfeeding it would be a low chance of getting pregnant at 9 weeks pp - but is possible!

Low chance with ebf.
