BFP getting fainter - 🌈 pregnancy

Hi everyone

We have been TTC after a MMC in September at 10 weeks.

I got a BFP on 12dpo in the evening and these are the tests since. I feel like the frer are getting fainter? Although I got a bfn with clear blue on 12dpo and now it’s a vv faint positive?

Is this likely to become a chemical loss?

Thank you 🥰

I can’t answer your last question

but they do seem to be getting markedly lighter

Yes unfortunately one of my chemicals was like this. Plus I would expect the FRER to be much darker at 14DPO. I assume the 14DPO AM one was FMU? Are you sure of dates?

allgoodthings84 · 23/01/2023 13:39

If you’re sure of your dates and these were tests after a decent hold/FMU then I’m really sorry but look like a chemical. It may not be not everyone gets dark lines but me personally only had fainter lines at 14dpo when I had my 2 chemicals. I hope it’s not the same for you 💕

I’m fairly certain of my dates but interestingly I’ve done another test this afternoon that wasn’t a particularly long hold and it’s the darkest yet? But still not as dark as I would expect for 14dpo - I think dates are correct but not 100% as I’m usually like clockwork but ovulated late this month.

How bizarre! I guess the only option is to wait it out and hope for the best.

Some people test darker in the afternoon so fingers crossed for you

Ursula82 · 23/01/2023 15:59

most accurate first thing in the morning

I wrote my current pregnancy off as a chemical because I kept getting faint lines then darker in the afternoon. So far so good!

Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻
