Can I have kfc when pregnant
Such as a zinger burger or hot wings
I'm absolutely craving a kfc so bad but heard mixed reviews so just wanted to see if anyone else knows at all? I'm in the UK

I would have thought that would be fine yeah ? I had kfc when I was pregnant. Can’t think why it wouldn’t be okay other than could give u heartburn x

Stick to the NHS website for pregnancy advice. KFC is fine

It will be, why would it not be? Thousands of pregnant people eat at KFC every day, it’s fine! Totally overthink OP, enjoy your food

It’s unlikely to be part of a good diet, but that’s not pregnancy specific.

I had KFC a few times during pregnancy and DD is absolutely fine. Didn’t even cross my mind it wouldn’t be ok, and I was a stickler for the rules throughout!

Googling suggests that in the UK KFC doesn't use MSG in the chicken coating

Isn't it just pate, raw egg and meat, caffeine, alcohol and blue/soft cheeses you can't have anyway??

@julz85 , you can have caffeine and runny eggs if you want. According to the NHS anyway, which I go by.

Industrial mayo is fine. It's the homemade ones you have to watch out for.

I was super sick when I was pregnant.
KFC was one of the few things that had any chance of staying down. Anything remotely healthy would come straight back up.

Would never have occurred to me to worry about kfc. 😳 Admittedly my two are 19 and 10 now! When I was pregnant with dd aged 19 I literally lived on Burger King chicken royales 😆 she’s turned out fine.
