Anyone measured a week behind? Or had a similar experience

hi I had a early ultrasound expecting to be around 6 weeks and couple of days, I was scanned this Thursday to be told I’m measuring at approx 5 weeks with faint cardiac activity
and mild perisac bleed? Anyone gone on to have a positive experience?
ive been told by the gynaecologist I saw at the epu to take progesterone cylogest 800mg till 16 weeks? So they don’t seem to concerned they’ve booked me a rescan on Thursday just the waiting is killing me not knowing at all!

i think I measured about a week behind with. I heart beat at this stage, then a week later there was a heartbeat and all fine.

Faint cardiac activity is a great sign so don’t stress. I think it’s hard to get accurate measurements at such an early stage.

@Greyhave thank you I think I’m just so worried as I’ve previously had two miscarriages, they’ve never actually seen any cardiac activity with any pregnancy I’ve had so I was really in shock when they said it too me but they also don’t really explain anything too you they leave you sitting in limbo not really knowing what’s happening it was silent the whole scan so I just felt so uneasy, thank you for getting back to me I really appreciate it haven’t had anyone to talk to about it so just feeling anxious as anything x
