I was always 4/5 weeks over with ds (matched my dates with dd).

DS was born at 38 weeks with excess fluid. He was only 8lbs 8oz, but I'm 5ft so I did look rather enormous for my height. A normal sized person would have carried it better.

I was huuuge with ds2. Only measured about 4 weeks more, but felt like about 4 months bigger! He was 9lb 15oz, 2 weeks over, luckily by section!

With ds1 I didnt show until 24 weeks, never got too big at all, and he was 7lb 14oz.

I'm sure it was entirely down to a supberb diet with ds1 and a rubbish one with ds2

You would think Mustrun but i put on 6 stone with DS1 and was told he would be average which he was at 7lb 8oz this time because i was still carrying 2 stone from having DS I have made sure that I have eaten better and have only gained so far 4lbs my midwife even commented on the fact that this time my belly is all baby not much Mum and that I look like I have lost weight everywhere else!

Lucky you! Or well done you, I should say. how I wish being pg made me lose weight! I'm still 2 stone 8 overweight from having the boys. And they're 2 and 4 I 'm working on it, buts its sooo slow.I really dontr think I was cut out to have babies; its knackered my body! I want to be young and fit again.

We were looking at some pics of us the other day, just beofer ds1 was due. My face was still really defined, I had lovely boney shoulders. I think alot of the ds1 weight was prob put on after he was born (and diidnt lose what was pg weight), due to a severe lack of training time.

MRM oh dont get me wrong I am still a chunky monkey I will need to lose 4 stone after the baby is born I managed to lose 4 stone last year on the cambridge diet and then got PG so that was the end of that but I think it really helped me control myself this time!

AS I posted further down about my cousin's wife I thought I'd update you. Her waters went on Thursday night and she had a little boy this morning!! So excited for them as it's their first. A little boy and he only weighed 7lb 11ish so not big at all! Goes to show how wrong even the scans are.
