I honestly thought people were just lying when then said this. I am 6+4 with baby number 4, and generally feel bloody wonderful. Plenty of symptoms to remind me of my current situ, but NO NAUSEA. This surely is weird? With my other children I had varying degrees of nausea/MS from 6 weeks on the dot, and felt pretty awful at this stage.

Has anyone else got experience of this?

Keeping everything crossed that I miraculously avoid the debilitating nausea of previous pregnancies 🤞🏼

I didn't have nausea until about 6-7 weeks I think then it was all day I just felt soo sick but never actually threw up- so maybe it's still to come!! Or maybe you're just lucky! X

Yes my 2 pregnancies were polar opposites.
I didn't have any symptoms at all until 10 weeks with DS and pregnancy was generally ok.
With DD it was constant nausea and aches from 6 weeks. I ended up going off sick from work at 31 weeks due to early contractions. It was a nightmare.

Why would people lie about it?

I never had nausea once when I was pregnant- I honestly belt wonderful. I'm sure that was a one off fluke, never to be repeated but I honestly loved it

Akite · 21/01/2023 11:12

I had hideous nausea from before my period was even due with baby no 1, lasted all the way to 36 weeks. Absolutely horrendous. Then had two subsequent pregnancies with never even a moment of nausea!

allgoodthings84 · 21/01/2023 11:12

I didn’t get nausea with my first until 6.5 weeks but with this one it’s been since 5 weeks and is constant all day every day. I’m getting more used to it so able to do a bit more.

Verite1 · 21/01/2023 11:13

Yep. Every possible symptom with my first. Nothing at all with my second!

SnackyOnassis · 21/01/2023 11:14

I was sick every day for the whole pregnancy with my first - not debilitating, just a quick efficient vomit in the morning and then on with my day.
I'm 14 weeks with my second now and have had no symptoms, haven't had a bit of sickness, unless I get really hungry!!

So odd and I completely sympathise OP, we had our first scan this week and until I saw the heartbeat I was sure something had happened as I felt I couldn't possibly be pregnant with no symptoms.

Soubriquet · 21/01/2023 11:17

Yep

With dd, I had hypermesis, severe SPD which led me stuck in a wheelchair for the pregnancy, threatened pre-term labour, which also led me bed bound.

with ds, I had nausea but no vomiting, I had SPD again but it was more manageable, and a perfect text book pregnancy right up to 35 weeks when he decided to stop growing.

AuuYSC · 21/01/2023 11:17

Extremely

I had HG first time and nothing the second
