I was 58kg at my 8 week appointment, about 60kg pre-pregnancy. I can't remember how much I weighed at your point but I think it was pretty similar. I was 80kg around my due date. No one was ever concerned about my weight gain :)

I was 66kg before pregnancy and 77kg at 28 weeks. It does seem a bit more than the advised amount online, but I don't feel like I've put on much weight apart from bump so not worrying about it.

Thanks both! Similar situations I think, I don't think I've put on weight anywhere else other than my bump! Still going to the gym too!

Will just go with the flow & keep being healthy! Any excess weight I can sort once he's here I guess xx

Hi
wondering if someone can help me please, I am looking for some reassurance I guess. I know I am in a very lucky position so please be kind in the comments.
I am 9 weeks pregnant and have gained 5lbs so fair and I’m terrified of getting bigger. The only way I stop feeling sick is if I’m eating, does anyone have any tricks that have helped with this at all?
also, I’m worried sick about the body I’m going to be left with after birth, how long did it take you to drop the baby weight and did you even recognised yourselves after?

Hey!! @Mbu so I put on 20kg in pregnancy, I had my baby boy 1 week ago & i've dropped 10kg and my stomachs not far off flat again x

You'll be surprised how quickly it goes down x

Congratulations on your baby boy!😍
Thank you for your reply, it’s really reassuring. Since posting this message I have been trying really hard to keep active and make healthy choices as much as possible
