period right after plan b

hi, hope you're doing well.
my problem is the following:
i had sex xith my partner last saturday, he did pull out, but after all we thaught it's safer to take the emergency pill so i took it at 20h but the thing is that the next day we also had sex without candoms but with no ejaculation .
yesterday, i had a heavy bleeding (im still having it] like period with the some symptoms (pelvic pain, cramps (as when I have my period even though I am only on day 16 of my cycle knowing that my cycle is usually around 30 days
so can i consider that as an early period so im not pregnant ?
im stressed a lot, please help!

Don't mean to sound harsh but why bother with the morning after pill if you're going to have unprotected sex again the same day? If it's only been a week since the incident occurred im pretty sure you wouldn't be showing pregnancy symptoms already so I would assume it's an early period x

So, no need to go for a test next week? I mean this heavy bleeding is a sign that im not pregnant?

The bleeding is a symptom of low progesterone, caused by the MAP

I would have thought you aren't pregnant . But another poster has suggested the morning after pill may be responsible for the bleeding? Which I didn't know about but I'm sure they are correct. Either way I think you're fine

If I were you, I would take a test in a week just to be sure but I would say it’s unlikely you’re pregnant.

yeah, i know about the side effects of plan B, such as spottings and bleeding, except that for my case, we're talking abt a heavy bleeding that's why i'm confused.

im planning to do so, also, i'll go for the blood test to be sure and to get the bottom of it,

Why a blood test? Just buy a normal pregnancy test?

The morning after pill can bring your period forward or make it arrive later than usual.

it's because the blood test is more accurate and can give significant results after 13 days unlike the normal pregnancy test which can only be done after 21 days of the sexual intercourse

Where are you getting your information from?

I don't know anywhere that will do a blood test to confirm pregnancy or not, without there being an additional medical need.

euhh,maybe we did not understand each other, I meant the blood test where we measure the pregnancy hormone in the blood, it is done in laboratories without a prescription
