Pretty normal, esp. with no. 1, they can feel quite intense and crampy but stretchy. THey stop soonish as far as I can remember. I am 13 weeks now and get them a little bit, but had them bad with DS.

If it's to the point where it's agony then maybe you should call MW. Mine were sore, but not unbearable, just like mild period pain. You can take paracetamol for it.

When I was 6 weeks, I had the most horrific cramps at night, starting at around 5pm, was fine during the day, this lasted a good week. It got to the point where I called the doctor and he sent me for a scan the next day. My problem was I had a cyst on my left ovary which had popped and can take up to 3 weeks to heal properly. It is worth asking about this. Maybe you are too late to have what I have as it happens quite a lot when the egg is released each month, even if you're not pregnant, and when you do get pregnant this is when there is more chance of it popping. I feel back to normal again now, pain seemed to disappear over a few weeks.

Hop you feel ok soon. x
