Private OB for antenatal care, giving birth abroad?

Hi, wondering if anyone used a private OB for antenatal care but not for the actual birth? We’d like to go with a private OB for the pregnancy but are planning on flying abroad for the actual birth. Thanks!

Why do you need an obstetrician? It would normally just be a midwife, surely. Obstetricians aren’t normal in pregnancy- unless it’s high risk.
