Third birth experiences?

I'm 36 weeks with my third baby. She's IUGR but I'm not going to be induced

First baby was a 36 hour labour, second was 5 hours and started dramatically (started haemorrhaging when my waters broke).

Don't know what to expect at all.

Would love to hear about other people's third births.

My first two were really different, first one was really long and drawn out, second took ages to get going but then went from 1-6cm in an hour and he was born about half an hour after that Confused he ended up in NICU with a suspected infection but it just turned out he was a bit shocked.

Third birth was almost identical to the first one except I coped better due to having more experience.

I thought they were supposed to get shorter Grin

1st and 2nd were 12 (induced) and 9 days over, so when 3rd arrived at just over 38 weeks I wasn’t expecting it! Was a 12 hour labour while 2nd was more like 6, I was expecting it to be quicker too.

Rumbling along all day then at 19:10 I was 2cm, 9cm during next contraction, dc born 19:27. No stitches. Some meconium but dc absolutely fine.

1st was 40+11, 14 hours
2nd 40+5, 7 hours
3rd 36+4 1hr 15
all 3 back to back
