Heart rhythm abnormal

Hi I just went for a routine growth scan and they found that baby has an irregular heart rhythm. So now Iv been referred to fetal medicine and gave to be monitored and scanned every week until he is born in 10 weeks. His growth is good he is approximately 3lb 9 and 29 weeks and his movements are normal. I was told nothing else but try not to worry!
My brother passed at 8 days old due to heart abnormalities so of course I'm panicking for my sweet boy. Has anyone had anything similar?

Hi, how are you doing? Have you had your fetal medicine review yet? I know of someone whose baby had a high heart rate during pregnancy and the mum took medication for that. I don't have any experience of having a baby with an irregular heart rhythm but I do have a baby that was born with a heart defect.

I am sorry about your brother passing away, I can imagine it is making you worry more. Hope you are doing okay and your fetal medicine review goes well.

I had this - noted by midwife on doppler and remained a feature throughout the pregnancy when checked. It caused me no end of worry but baby was born fit and healthy and with no heart problems. Really hope the same is true for you.

My appointment is on Thursday, I have been back and forth my hospital having ctg monitoring and another ultrasound and still the same. His heart is skipping every 3rd or 4th beat consistently, it's such a worry

Oh wow I hope my situations the same as yours! My boys heart is skipping beats every 3rd or 4th. I really hope I'm worrying over something that works itself out. He's moving great and growing good too so here's hoping! I find out Thursday the diagnosis
