So I had a scan 9th January baby was weight 7lb at 37 weeks 3 days being induced 20th January at 39 weeks so 10 days apart how accurate are the scan weights just trying to work out what size baby will be to buy the last minute bits I need

You’d expect weight gain of about half a pound a week. So IF the scan is accurate, baby will be about 8lbs. But that’s a huge IF! For one of mine it was dead on, the other he was 1.5 pounds heavier than the scan 3 days prior. I’d buy a few newborn- maybe 5 or 6 babygrows. More 0-3 since you know they won’t go to waste, and you can always turn up sleeves. You can then order more newborn with next day delivery if necessary.
