Hi I am 10 weeks today. On Sunday morning after a pee there was some brown tinged discharge I looked online and was reassured it was normal and it was fine for the rest of the day then this morning had a bit more brown tinged discharge so decided I’ll phone the midwife tomorrow. Tonight when I wiped there was a tiny bit of fresh blood on toilet paper. At first I thought it was from straining for a poo (sorry tmi) but when I wiped the back passage no blood. I will phone MW in the morning but now getting a bit worried. I don’t have any pain but still a bit of a worry 😣

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

That sounds stressful. I had bleeding with mine and they're both in bed asleep upstairs now. I have also had a miscarriage but that felt different and involved more pain. I remember googling bleeding and discovering it's pretty common. Fingers firmly crossed for you.

I had it with both mine. My second I had what looked like proper period flow. It can be completely fine

Thank you for your reassurance as it was just brown at first I felt ok about it but see the fresh blood tonight has given me a fright even though it was a tiny amount. My last pregnancy I had no bleeding whatsoever but it was ten years ago. I will contact MW in the morning and see what she says

I didn't mention before but if you've been pregnant before it might be helpful... when it was a miscarriage rather than just bleeding I knew as the pregnancy never felt quite right. Have you had any scans at all? If they've seen a heart beat the odds are in your favour.

I haven’t had any scans yet I live in a very rural area so I don’t have option of a private scan. I have one booked for 12 weeks I will be glad to get it done it’s funny how you dint fully believe it’s there until you hear the heartbeat. Although I am sick every morning which is a good reminder!!

To me that's a great sign. I had symptoms with my two pregnancies, but nothing with my miscarriage

I spoke to the MW this morning, not worried in the slightest bit! I feel like I can relax now thank you for your reassuring comments 😁
