Positive or negative?

Hello,

I took this Morrisons test and it came back like this but then took one since and it has come back negative. Im not due on till Thursday and this was yesterday. Is the postive one a false pos or evaporation line or? Thanks in advance

If that line came up within the time frame I'd say it's positive!

When did you take that first test? Did the test today have any hint of a line at all?

I took the tests on the same day yesterday within an hour of each other. I’ve got some first response coming tomorrow. This is a Morrisons test, I was just worried why I’d get a negative straight after? Also they was both taken later in the day.

@Belle2019 that’s positive. I’m guessing the second one was negative as you’re early testing and didn’t wait for a 3-4 hour hold (no drinking or weeing) before taking the second test.

@allgoodthings84 i am weeing quite a lot but I do anyway before my period. I’ve got 3 girls and my symptoms were really obvious before a missed period but I don’t feel any different this time, I don’t feel like I’m going to come on my period or pregnant really other than a few twinges. Thank you

@Belle2019 i think if you take another with first morning wee tomorrow it will be positive 😊. I didn’t have any symptoms either (apart from no pre AF spotting when I usually spot 3-4 days).

@Belle2019 how many dpo are you? That was definitely a positive as evaps are reallllyyy faint and have no colour. The only other thing I can think of is a chemical pregnancy but hopefully not

@Belle2019 aahhhh it could be you’re too early to consistently test positive

A chemical pregnancy is when implantation doesn’t fully happen for whatever reason so you get a positive test which can then turn negative. It’s a real pregnancy but really early on. I’ve had 2 at around 5 weeks so a bit later than you but it can happen any time up to just over 5 weeks. So basically before a heartbeat.

Probably positive. Unlikely to have other noticeable symptoms at this stage.

@allgoodthings84 so the pregnancy test yesterday I did look straight away and had to leave the house because I was taking my car for an MOT and I looked at the test last night and it was like this. But not sure when it appeared so it could be an evap line?

It looks positive but if you're still not sure, get a FRER and follow the instructions. Take it with you if you have to leave the house within the 3 minute time frame. If a line comes up in that time, you're pregnant.

I am 8 weeks pregnant and i am getting barely noticable positive pregnancy test and even some like morrison pregnancy test come out negative i have had a scan to confirm a healthy baby... I wouldnt really worry about the strength of the line tbh... Looks positive to me, go to the doctors they will confirm if u are or not x

I think it’s got too much colour for an evap but take another like a frer and don’t leave before time is up unless a line come up before that

I did a clear blue digital earlier and it was negative :-/ I’m literally just going to wait until Saturday now to see if I come my period or not feel so confused!

@Belle2019 Digitals aren’t designed for testing early unless you buy the early detections ones. They work for some people before period is due but would depend on how long your luteal phase is. If you’re only 11dpo today there’s a good chance it wouldn’t show on a digital yet. I wouldn’t do a digital before 14dpo (unless an early detection one). I would wait until 14dpo and then test as you will get a definite positive if pregnant 😊

hi i recently got my implant out on 19th july, had a feeling to take a test and i can’t tell if it’s evap or positive, very thin blue line. appeared after about 5 minutes, the line does go all the way down just not the best pic! help please!! thank you
