Increased bowel movements & other symptoms - 30 weeks

Hello,

I’m 30+2 weeks and have a few different symptoms which I’m trying not to worry about, but am..

I’ve had a rash over my bump and now chest- a gp saw it yesterday and has prescribed cream and didn’t seem worried.

A couple of days ago I had a funny turn where I went dizzy but all was ok after 5 mins - midwife reassured me dizziness isn’t uncommon and as long as it’s not daily..

I’ve now noticed I’ve had increased bowel movements for a few days.. 2-3 times a day compared to once every day or two. I was hoping Google would reassure me but most say constipation is more usual.

My worrier mind is combining all the symptoms and scared it’s something more sinister.

Has anyone else had increased bowel movements in third trimester??

Thanks!!

To add in case it makes a difference/should be of concern, my BP yesterday was 134/79 and a couple of weeks ago was 108/68.

I have had increased bowel movements and dizziness. I can have a few days of loose bowels and then I'm constipated before it going the other way again.

I'm 34w now and still very much the same

@GoT1904 thank you! Have you mentioned it to your midwife/what did they say? Thanks ☺️

She really wasn't bothered lol. She encouraged me to drink more and said maybe I have a bug, which I definitely don't 🤷🏻‍♀️ x

Hi @katpw just wondering what the outcome of this was? Experiencing similar frequent movements at 31 weeks!

Hi @northernsunshine if I'm honest I don't remember the outcome which probably suggests all was ok and nothing sinister. Probably just a case of change in hormones etc. x
