“Make the most of the middle stage of pregnancy, or second trimester, as it's often the most enjoyable. The worst of the nausea and fatigue has usually passed, your bump isn't yet so big that it's uncomfortable and hopefully you'll feel full of energy!”

I am 13 + 5.

may I politely observe that this is BOLLOCKS!

sick and tired, tired and sick 😂

Oh its absolutely true i felt awful until about 16 weeks and then from about 16-24 weeks it was nearly plain sailing. Now 33 weeks and everything is getting hard to do like breathing, walking, sitting down, putting socks on lol

Yeah I feel you, not true for everyone. 14 weeks and my Hyperemesis is still as bad as ever.

You might get lucky…

I was throwing up 15 times a day, and having IV fluids administered until 21 weeks. I felt like it was all bollocks, and then suddenly had a glorious 9 weeks before SPD meant I couldn’t walk.

But it WAS a glorious 9 week patch in the middle 😬

My sickness only started at 10 weeks, which is what I’m bitter about - thought I’d swerved it this time!

Ha ha this made me laugh, I was expecting a serious issue on this thread. I think it varies depending on pregnancy, some don’t enjoy the second trimester but for me it was the only one where I wasn’t too sick and I wasn’t too big, first trimester has got to be the worst for me mentally and the third trimester the worst physically. They all have their negatives don’t they x

Full of energy. HAHAHAHAAAAAA (14+5, still feel like death warmed up).

PoinsettiaPosturing · 17/01/2023 10:50

I'm 17 weeks and this is bollocks. I'm still feeling sick, tired and the idea of any intimacy makes me want to staple my vagina shut. Pregnancy for me is a hard slog, but worth the end result.
