Hello I work for a telecommunications company. I'm currently on my first maternity leave. I want to have babies close in age but worried about the money implications in taking a second year off work.
My question is quite specific - essentially I want to find out how long I have to go back to my job for to qualify for the enhanced pay my company offers (if they do offer it more than once) a second time as opposed to just statutory. Please don't think I'm taking the p - I've worked with this company a long time!!!
The best way to find out would be to contact our HR department I don't want to ask outright as the maternity pay where I work is very good.
If anyones got any tips on how I could word an email asking what the qualifying period for enhanced maternity pay would be for a second maternity that would be great. Many thanks in advance.
